Venue Display

Understanding the Venue Display

See what your audience can follow during joining, live songs, winning claims and the finished game.

Updated 16 October 2026

Before the first song

The screen shows your game title, Live status, instructions to join at BoogieBingo.Live, the Game Code and the current player count.

Until you record the first song, the main song area says Waiting for first song.

During the game

When you record a current song on the Host Game screen, Venue Display shows its title and artist (where provided).

The Game Progress section shows the number of songs recorded out of the full playlist and a progress bar. The Played Songs section lists up to ten recently played songs, newest first.

The audience screen updates from the public game record; it does not play the music or select songs for you.

When someone wins

A valid Line claim triggers a large Line Winner announcement with the player's name. A valid Full House triggers a Full House announcement. Each new winner announcement is displayed for approximately eight seconds.

The Winners panel lists the latest winner and other recent accepted claims. Where applicable, it also shows tied Line or Full House winner totals.

In Boogie Bingo Live, a Line means one complete horizontal row only. Vertical columns and diagonals do not count.

Helpful tip: The host should allow time for other players who qualify on the same winning song to submit their claims before moving on or ending the game.

At Full House and at the end

After a valid Full House, the display asks players to check their tickets while further qualifying claims are still open.

Once the host ends and saves the game, the display switches to a Game Finished message with totals for players joined, songs played and winners.
